Marché in Seoul｜서울 마르쉐에서 만난 따뜻한 발견

Hello, this is MARKET SUPERNOVA 🌿

The other day, I went to a weekend marché in Seoul!
It’s a very eco-friendly event — many people bring enamel containers or reusable eco bags.

I’ve only been there twice so far,
but the vegetables are always incredibly fresh,
and there are many I’ve never seen before.
Among them, the freshly picked cherry tomatoes (called “Aiko” in Japan) were especially memorable 🍅
Sweet, juicy, and full of flavor — they honestly moved me!

Now that it’s October, Seoul has become much more comfortable,
and just walking outside feels so nice.

There were also lots of dogs at the market,
freely strolling around and creating a calm, happy atmosphere 🐾

There were many food stalls too.
At one of them, I found a Japanese vendor selling handmade shio-koji in adorable glass jars✨
They also offered rice balls and small side dishes you could enjoy right there.
We had a lovely chat, and it made the food taste even better.

Another thing that left an impression on me
was a florist who made bouquets on the spot 🌼
They talked with eachs customer and chose flowers to match their personality.
When I asked for one, they crated a unique bouquet — just for me.

This marché has been running for over ten years,
and you can really feel the warmth and trust that fill the place.
I usually buy groceries online because life is so busy,
but talking directly with local farmers reminded me
how heartwarming real connection can be.

Moments like these — small encounters and discoveries —
are what make Seoul such an interesting and beautiful city☺️
